Description

Architect and develop scalable, reusable testbench environments using verification methodologies, and drive functional verification for Block/Core/SOC features. Own test plans, pseudo-random test creation to achieve functional coverage closure, and debug regression failures by analyzing coverage gaps. Lead documentation and reviews of the verification strategy and improve verification quality and efficiency while mentoring junior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop a scalable, reusable verification testbench environment
• Drive test plans for Block/Core/SOC features and write functional coverage
• Build pseudo-random tests to reach full functional coverage and verification closure
• Debug regression failures; analyze coverage gaps and improve tests
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with the team
• Stress the DUT efficiently with out-of-the-box verification approaches
• Lead documentation of verification strategy (test plans, verification environment, pseudo-random tests) and run reviews with design/architecture
• Improve verification quality and efficiency

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics (or equivalent) with 12+ years experience OR Master’s degree with 10+ years experience
• 10+ years experience developing complex verification environments, test plans, functional coverage, and pseudo-random testing
• Experience through a full ASIC cycle from architecture development to tapeout with a strong verification focus
• Proficiency in SystemVerilog and verification methodologies such as UVM/VMM
• Good debug skills for analyzing regression failures and complex designs
• Understanding of a complex protocol such as PCI Express or other multi-layer protocols
• Ability to work with the team and mentor junior engineers
