Description

You will design and optimize end-to-end UX/UI experiences for online banking, working closely with a Product Design Lead and Product Owners—from initial ideas and user research through user flows, wireframes, prototypes, final UI design, and delivery to development. The role includes native iOS/Android app design, supporting consistent web UX, validating decisions through research and usability testing, evolving the design system, and ensuring implementation quality.

Responsibilities

• Own the full design cycle in coordination with Product Design Lead and Product Owners

• Design and optimize native banking apps for iOS and Android, and support the evolution of the web application for cross-platform consistency

• Plan, conduct, and analyze user research (interviews, surveys, usability tests) to validate design decisions

• Develop and maintain the existing design system and ensure consistent usage

• Support implementation and ensure high implementation quality

• Coordinate regularly with the Product Design Lead on design decisions, priorities, and strategic alignment

• Run day-to-day operational activities and manage external design partners

• Support briefings and quality assurance

• Organize bids/RFQs for design projects and monitor the associated budgets

Requirements

• Compelling portfolio demonstrating UX/UI design skills, process, and successfully delivered projects

• Strong knowledge of user research, user-centered design, interaction design, usability principles, and accessibility

• Proficiency with Figma, Jira, and Confluence; experience with Adobe Analytics and Adobe Target is a plus

• Familiarity with Apple HIG and Google Material Design

• Experience working in agile development environments (Scrum)

• Strong communication and presentation skills

• Fluent German and English (written and spoken)

• Experience in finance, banking, or FinTech is preferred
