Description

You will proactively drive process optimization in the areas of EDI and digitization, handling company and customer projects with responsibility. In addition, you will support the team with first-level support for sites in the Greater Munich region and help ensure IT solutions work smoothly for customers and employees using a help-desk service tool and specialists. The role also includes hardware and software provisioning plus administrative tasks such as managing hardware/software and checking service provider invoices.

Responsibilities

• Drive process optimization for EDI and digitization
• Own and execute projects internally and with customers
• Provide first-level support for locations in the Greater Munich area
• Ensure smooth operation of IT solutions for customers and employees (help-desk tool + specialist team)
• Support hardware and software provisioning to keep local site operations running
• Handle administrative and commercial tasks (hardware/software management, vendor invoice checks)

Requirements

• Completed commercial or technical training; ideally with experience in a forwarding/logistics company or IT environment
• Strong knowledge of MS Windows systems
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office / Microsoft 365
• Initial EDI experience (advantageous)
• Professional communication and phone behavior
• Good English skills
• Driver’s license class B
• Teamwork, service orientation, and organizational skills
• Independent work style and good task overview
