Description

You will act as the technical interface between customers, development, and project management, guiding customer-specific software solutions from requirements analysis to successful system acceptance. The role includes coordinating technical concepts and ensuring the cooperation of system components. You will also advise customers on optimal use of the software and coordinate bug-fix activities to enable successful validation.

Responsibilities

• Capture and structure customer requirements and translate them into clear, actionable specifications for development teams

• Develop technical concepts and coordinate their implementation across relevant specialist areas

• Maintain an end-to-end view of the overall technical system and ensure proper cooperation of its components

• Advise customers on optimal use of software solutions and serve as the main point of contact for technical questions

• Coordinate bug-fixing activities and set the conditions needed for successful solution validation

Requirements

• Completed technical education or degree with a focus such as Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Communications Engineering

• At least 5 years of experience in an interface role in IT/software customer project work

• Strong Linux knowledge (e.g., Red Hat), including secure command-line operation

• Experience with object-oriented software development in Java or C++

• Customer-oriented working style, high initiative, and teamwork

• Fluent German and English (spoken and written)

• Willingness to travel internationally (2–3%)
