Description

You will support the automotive claims area by gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements with the relevant business teams. The role focuses on process optimization and identifying automation and digitization opportunities, plus translating business needs into functional concepts and requirements for IT. You will also contribute to testing, data-based reporting, and the continuous improvement of analysis methods using modern and AI-enabled tools.

Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and document functional requirements with close collaboration with business departments

• Analyze and optimize processes; identify automation and digitization potential

• Create functional concepts, requirements, and documentation

• Align, prioritize, and hand over functional requirements to IT business partners

• Support error analysis and derive required adjustments

• Create test cases, execute functional tests, and ensure the functional quality of implemented requirements

• Perform data evaluations, KPI analyses, and reporting to support decisions

• Advise business units on processes, applications, and requirements

• Contribute to cross-department digitalization, automation, and innovation projects

• Further develop standards and methods and use modern analysis and AI tools

Requirements

• Completed degree in business informatics, computer science, business administration, insurance technology or comparable qualification

• Experience in business analysis, process analysis, or requirements management (ideally in the insurance industry)

• Knowledge of automotive claims management and an understanding of optimization and digitization opportunities

• Experience producing functional concepts and requirement documents

• Understanding of data analysis, KPIs, and reporting

• Ideally: knowledge of SQL, Jira, Confluence or similar tools

• Confident use of digital tools and interest in AI-supported solutions

• Analytical, conceptual, and communication strengths with a structured, independent working style
