Description

Administer, maintain, and continuously improve a Microsoft-based IT infrastructure including Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365. Help expand and optimize a hybrid IT environment with Azure and virtualization platforms such as VMware, while ensuring stable and secure network operations (LAN/WAN, firewall, VPN) aligned with modern IT security standards. Act as a contact for 1st- and 2nd-level support and contribute to IT modernization projects.

Responsibilities

• Administration, support, and ongoing development of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365

• Support expansion and optimization of a hybrid IT environment using Azure and VMware

• Ensure stable and secure network operation, including LAN/WAN, firewall, and VPN, considering current IT security standards

• Provide 1st- and 2nd-level support and work on IT projects (e.g., modernization of the IT infrastructure)

Requirements

• Completed degree in Computer Science/IT or completed IT training (e.g., Fachinformatiker Systemintegration) or comparable qualification

• First or multiple years of experience as an IT Systems Administrator (helpdesk, IT support, or IT project management), ideally in a production or trading company

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server and Active Directory

• Ideally experience with Azure and/or Microsoft 365

• Ideally experience with virtualization solutions such as VMware or Hyper-V

• High willingness to learn, strong problem-solving skills, and a reliable, structured working style
