Description

You will manage challenging plant projects from the first idea through installation on the construction site. You assess onsite setup conditions, document them to ensure smooth assembly and commissioning, and plan the assembly process and routing in coordination with the construction team. As the central interface, you work closely with construction managers and communicate with customers and service providers.

Responsibilities

• Manage plant projects onsite from initial concept to assembly on site

• Assess and document onsite installation conditions with the customer

• Determine material needs using process flow diagrams and layout plans

• Design the assembly sequence and create plans for installation and pipe/route routing (with support from the construction team)

• Support construction managers throughout the assembly phase and enable successful onsite execution

• Coordinate communication with customers and contractors

Requirements

• Technician, master, or bachelor’s degree (ideally in relevant engineering/technology fields such as mechanical engineering, chemical/bio process engineering, food technology, dairy/brewing, or pharma technology)

• Ideal: initial experience in plant or piping/tray construction in the food or pharma industry

• Team player with interest in new tasks

• Independent, structured, results-driven, and accountable way of working

• Understanding of technical interrelationships

• Strong communication and negotiation skills in German and English, willingness for occasional international travel

• Driver’s license Class B
