Description

You will lead and further develop a wood processing manufacturing team (~70 employees) across the full production process, from CNC machining to assembly. The role ensures efficient production aligned with quality, delivery schedules, and cost effectiveness, while driving continuous improvement and maintaining TQM and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and actively develop a ~70-person manufacturing team across the entire process (CNC machining through assembly)

• Ensure efficient manufacturing regarding quality, delivery dates, and economic performance

• Identify optimization opportunities and implement measures for continuous process and productivity improvement

• Ensure TQM standards, support audits, and ensure compliance with occupational safety and UVV requirements

• Contribute to projects for area development and cover deputy responsibilities within your scope

Requirements

• Completed craft-technical apprenticeship in a relevant field (e.g., carpenter, wood processing machinist, industrial mechanic) plus further training as technician, master craftsman, or technical business administrator

• Solid experience in a leadership position within a comparable production/manufacturing environment

• Strong technical understanding and expertise in at least one relevant technology, especially woodworking or CNC wood machining

• Confident handling of MS Office and SAP (PS5)

• Very good German skills (written and spoken); English knowledge is an advantage

• Solution-oriented mindset, structured execution capability, and a confident, reliable leadership presence
