Description

You will administer and support company networks, telecommunications, and IT systems—covering backups, database reorganization, troubleshooting (hardware and software), and interface/error-log monitoring. The role also includes user support for application software, documentation for operators and users, and programming of the telephone system and time terminal.

Responsibilities

• Administer networks, telecommunications, and IT systems
• Handle data backup and archiving
• Reorganize databases
• Analyze and resolve hardware issues across systems, peripherals, and network components
• Analyze and resolve software-related incidents
• Monitor interfaces
• Evaluate error protocols/logs
• Create operating and user documentation
• Program the telephone system and time terminal
• Document network topology
• Maintain hardware and software inventories
• Train employees on the BDE system
• Identify security weaknesses and develop and implement solutions
• Support soft- and hardware customer service requests
• Provide end-user support for the full application software portfolio

Requirements

• Completed vocational training in IT, computer science, telecommunications engineering, or equivalent qualification
• Commercial thinking
• Well-regarded communication and reliability
• Proficiency with Office products
