Description

You will develop the strategic direction for IT Service Management, define enterprise-wide target states and governance requirements, and create decision foundations for leadership. You will also drive enterprise-wide ITSM governance, service portfolio evolution, and service lifecycle management. In addition, you will ensure governance and quality of business-critical asset and configuration data through asset/configuration management and platform requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Develop the strategy for IT Service Management (IT@LVM), including enterprise-wide target images, governance requirements, and decision bases
  • Steer ongoing evolution of enterprise ITSM governance and embed binding standards across the full IT service lifecycle
  • Own the strategic further development of the group-wide service portfolio; derive requirements for service architecture, quality standards, and service lifecycle management
  • Design enterprise-wide IKT asset and configuration management; ensure governance and quality of business-critical asset and configuration data
  • Develop requirements and strategic target images for ITSM, asset-management, and CMDB platforms, and steer implementation with involved units
  • Advise leadership up to top management on strategic, regulatory, and organizational topics in IT service management
  • Represent the topic in cross-functional committees, prepare decision materials, and align stakeholders to reach sustainable solutions
  • Steer strategic and regulatory initiatives across the IT service landscape and ensure successful implementation

Requirements

  • Successfully completed degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or comparable qualification
  • Several years of experience in conceiving, managing, and improving IT service management, governance, or transformation programs
  • Solid ITIL knowledge and practical experience designing or improving processes, services, or organizational structures
  • Deep understanding of how IT services, IT assets, configuration data, and regulatory requirements relate
  • Experience creating concepts, decision rationale, and recommendations for executives and committees
  • Strong strategic, analytical, and conceptual thinking; ability to prepare complex topics for the intended audience
  • Confident appearance plus strong consulting, moderation, and communication skills across management levels
  • Assertiveness, negotiation skills, and experience working through different stakeholder interests in cross-department initiatives
