Description

You will plan, implement, and continuously improve IT security measures, including ongoing monitoring of security events and incidents. You will conduct vulnerability analyses, support security assessments and audits, handle incidents with external providers, and design emergency plans for security response. You will also serve as the central contact for IT security, maintain security documentation, and train employees on security-critical topics.

Responsibilities

  • Ongoing planning and continuous development of IT security measures, including monitoring security events and incidents
  • Conduct vulnerability analyses with external partners and derive targeted remediation actions
  • Support regular security assessments and audits; analyze and manage security incidents in close collaboration with service providers
  • Develop emergency plans and measures for responding to security incidents
  • Create and maintain security-related documentation
  • Raise awareness and train employees on security-critical topics
  • Act as the key contact for IT security matters; ensure compliance with legal requirements and internal security standards
  • Contribute to Business Continuity Management and assess/manage service providers
  • Coordinate and collaborate with IT specialists, departments, and external service providers

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, IT Security, or equivalent qualification
  • First professional experience in IT security
  • Strong understanding of information security principles, technologies, and standards
  • Knowledge of network security and security architecture; experience with cloud security and virtualization
  • Strong application security and endpoint security knowledge; experience with firewalls, IDS, encryption, and authentication mechanisms
  • Expertise in incident management, data protection, and quality management; experience with critical infrastructures and risk analyses
  • Ability to identify and assess security risks and derive suitable countermeasures
  • Excellent analytical thinking for resolving complex security issues; ability to communicate security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • German proficiency at least C1 (spoken and written)
  • Willingness to undergo security screening
  • Valid Class B driver’s license
