Description

You will take responsibility for IT governance together with the business unit leadership, aligning IT processes with overarching company goals. You will govern and support major IT project introductions and modernization efforts (including SAP S/4HANA and E-Health applications) while advancing IT security, recovery, usage concepts, and data protection policies. The role also includes overseeing and improving IT operating processes, coordinating interfaces across hospital and corporate stakeholders, and developing team members.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business unit leadership to own the IT strategy and align IT processes with company objectives; help foster a cooperative, high-performance, solutions-oriented culture
  • Lead and govern IT projects such as SAP S/4HANA or E-Health application rollouts; support and represent the business unit leadership
  • Develop, implement, and ensure IT security and recovery concepts, usage concepts, and data protection guidelines; monitor and improve IT operations processes
  • Coordinate and mediate interfaces between executive management, hospital directorates, physicians, nursing, and the medical & information technology business unit
  • Develop and train employees and ensure a positive, constructive working atmosphere in strong teams

Requirements

  • Completed university degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or equivalent qualification
  • Several years of IT department leadership experience in a hospital environment and/or experience in change-management or transformation processes
  • Very good knowledge of strategic and operational management of complex IT projects; willingness to occasionally work outside regular hours for large projects
  • Strong responsibility, communication, and decision-making skills; structured and solution-oriented work even in complex topics or conflicts
  • Willingness for continuous professional training and further development of leadership competencies
