Description

Lead SAP and IT projects from planning through successful handover into regular operations. You will manage schedules, resources, quality, and budget, proactively identify project risks, and define suitable mitigation measures. You will coordinate governance meetings, requirements, testing, and quality assurance phases while ensuring knowledge transfer.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery of SAP and IT projects—especially in the context of S/4HANA and BTP—from planning to handover into steady-state operations

• Manage timelines, resources, quality, and budget; identify project risks early and initiate appropriate actions

• Plan and moderate project meetings and steering committees; coordinate requirements, testing, and quality assurance phases; ensure knowledge transfer

• Coordinate collaboration with business departments, management/executive leadership, and external service providers; ensure transparent communication

• Apply classic and agile project management methods; support introduction of new processes and systems with change management activities and user training

Requirements

• Completed degree (e.g., business informatics, computer science, business administration) or equivalent qualification based on relevant experience

• Multi-year experience in leading IT and SAP projects, ideally including transformation or migration projects

• Solid knowledge of classic and agile project management methods and confident use of common project management tools (preferably Jira)

• Experience in directing external service providers with strong communication, moderation, and assertiveness skills

• Structured, solution-oriented, and independent working style; very good German and English skills (written and spoken)
