Description

You will manage and operate cloud services within a Cloud Center of Excellence, contributing to secure and future-oriented cloud usage. The role includes coordinating cloud service planning, implementation, monitoring, and problem/incident management (2nd and 3rd level support). You will also develop automation solutions using Infrastructure as Code and help ensure compliance through security standards, audits, and backup strategies.

Responsibilities

• Shape cloud-relevant processes and support continuous improvement of cloud services to meet security, risk, and compliance requirements

• Develop automation solutions and apply Infrastructure as Code concepts (e.g., Terraform, Docker, GitLab CI/CD pipelines)

• Coordinate planning, implementation, and monitoring of cloud services

• Support execution of cloud strategies and policies, implement security standards, perform compliance checks, and develop audit-ready backup strategies

• Handle problem and incident management, including 2nd- and 3rd-level support

• Drive economic optimization of cloud resources, coordinate internal teams and external providers, and support migrations and rollouts

Requirements

• Completed degree in a relevant field (preferably technical: (business) informatics, engineering, software engineering) or equivalent IT qualification/training (e.g., IT specialist) with relevant experience

• Minimum 2 years practical experience in a cloud environment

• Secure handling of tech stacks such as Docker, Terraform, Kubernetes, Jira, Confluence, and GitLab

• Analytical, structured, and meticulous working style

• Fluent German (spoken and written)
