Description

You will administer and monitor enterprise cloud environments and support DevOps teams through cloud services. Your work includes managing cloud subscriptions, identity, and resources; automating provisioning/de-provisioning; monitoring and reporting resource usage; and maintaining reports, workflows, and SOPs/policies. You will also coordinate with 3rd line support and provide 2nd line support for cloud services.

Responsibilities

• Administration and monitoring of enterprise cloud environments

• Manage cloud subscriptions, identities, and resources

• Automate cloud tasks and processes

• Monitor and report cloud resource usage and consumption

• Prepare, update, and maintain reports and workflows

• Prepare, update, and maintain policies, guidelines, and SOPs

• Provision and de-provision developer and DevOps environments

• Provide 2nd line support to developer teams for cloud services

• Coordinate with 3rd line support

• Participate in project and coordination meetings

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of IT experience, including at least 2 years as a Cloud Engineer/DevOps

• Mid-level cloud certification for AWS or Azure or Google Cloud

• Completed IT studies

• English B2 (certification required)

• Strong knowledge of Azure/AWS/GCP: Identity, Networking, Compute, Storage, Containers, Databases

• Experience building and maintaining cloud services (compute, storage, network)

• Very strong scripting/programming skills: PowerShell, Terraform, Ansible, Go, Bash, Windows Command Prompt, object-oriented languages

• Linux administration experience (preferred Red Hat)

• Basic Microsoft systems administration knowledge

• Very good DevOps and Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) knowledge

• Knowledge of cloud security and compliance

• Experience collaborating with multiple support groups

• Ticketing systems knowledge and ITIL processes (change, configuration, release management)
