Description

Lead Node.js development within the SAP Business Technology Platform, combining hands-on engineering with technical leadership. You will ensure high-quality code through reviews and best practices, troubleshoot issues, and help drive scalable architecture and CI/CD improvements. You’ll collaborate with customers and stakeholders to deliver maintainable, future-ready SAP ecosystem solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead development activities using Node.js within SAP BTP
• Conduct code reviews and promote clean, maintainable design
• Monitor applications, troubleshoot, and resolve defects
• Prepare and maintain technical and user documentation
• Coordinate team activities, track performance, and support team development
• Collaborate with customers and stakeholders and provide technical guidance
• Contribute to development process setup and continuous improvement of CI/CD pipelines
• Drive architectural decisions to deliver scalable solutions

Requirements

• 7+ years of SAP-related development including SAPUI5, SAP BTP, SAP HANA, SAP CAP, and Node.js
• Team Lead experience managing and mentoring teams of 10+ engineers
• Strong Node.js and solid JavaScript expertise
• CI/CD experience with tools such as Jenkins, Piper, Webdriver.IO (or similar)
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture and microservices principles
• Familiarity with Agile (Scrum or Kanban)
• Experience/knowledge of SAP BTP, SAP HANA database, and SAP CAP (Java or Node.js)
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication with cross-functional stakeholders
• English proficiency B2 or higher
