Description

Design and develop IT system and solution architecture aligned with business and organizational strategy, from concept through production implementation. Lead end-to-end architectural initiatives, coordinate complex, multi-system solutions, and ensure non-functional requirements are met. Produce architectural documentation and diagrams and support modernization of legacy systems and monolith decomposition.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop system and IT solution architecture based on business and strategic requirements
  • Lead architectural initiatives from analysis and concept through production rollout and continued development
  • Define architectural, technological, and integration standards for new and existing systems
  • Architect distributed and microservices-based solutions, including cloud-based approaches
  • Evaluate and recommend technologies, tools, and design approaches that support business goals
  • Create architecture documentation and diagrams using UML, ArchiMate, and other modeling standards
  • Collaborate with project, development, analysis, and business teams to define and implement solutions
  • Identify and address non-functional requirements (security, performance, scalability, availability, fault tolerance)
  • Support modernization processes, legacy transformation, and decomposition of monoliths
  • Ensure architectural consistency across multiple systems, teams, and business domains

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of IT industry experience
  • At least 4 years in system/solution architecture design or a comparable role with architectural responsibility
  • Proven ability to independently run technology initiatives from concept to production
  • Experience designing and coordinating complex solutions across multiple systems, teams, and business areas
  • Practical knowledge of architectural patterns and styles: layered architecture, modular monolith, SOA, microservices, event-driven architecture, and cloud solutions
  • Experience designing/developing/modernizing distributed systems, especially microservices architectures
  • Ability to create clear architectural documentation and diagrams using UML and ArchiMate
  • Experience designing for high availability, fault tolerance, and business continuity
  • Understanding of non-functional requirements including security, performance, scalability, observability, availability, and RPO/RTO
  • Ability to communicate architectural decisions and work effectively with diverse stakeholders
