Description

You will join a strategic project building a payments systems solution that supports a high volume of transactions and integrations. The role involves designing the solution architecture, coordinating work across project teams, and supporting backend, frontend, and DevOps areas. It combines system architect responsibilities with technical leadership and domain expertise in banking payments.

Responsibilities

• Design solution architecture for the payments platform
• Coordinate delivery across project teams
• Support backend, frontend, and DevOps workstreams

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in banking systems related to payments
• Minimum 10 years of commercial Java experience
• Very good knowledge of distributed systems architecture and design patterns
• Experience designing and documenting solution architecture
• Knowledge of Enterprise Architect and UML
• Experience with systems handling large numbers of queries and processing text files
• Minimum 6 years with PostgreSQL and Elasticsearch
• Minimum 5 years with Apache Kafka
• Knowledge of Kafka Streams
• Experience working with Docker and Kubernetes
• Knowledge of cloud solutions, preferably GCP
• Security knowledge: PKI, JWT, TLS, Mutual TLS, digital signatures
