Description

You will design complex IT solutions, select system architecture and integration models, and produce solution architecture documentation (HLD/LLD and diagrams). The role includes designing APIs and data exchange formats, modernizing microservices and distributed systems, and defining non-functional requirements for security, availability, performance, scalability, and observability. You will also evaluate new technologies, prepare PoCs, assess architectural risks, and guide technical teams through reviews and issue resolution.

Requirements

• Higher education in Computer Science/IT or related technical field

• Minimum 10 years of IT experience, including at least 6 years in system/solution architecture design

• Proven ability to independently lead complex IT initiatives from concept to production across multiple systems/teams/domains

• Broad technology knowledge (databases, programming languages, cloud platforms) and ability to choose based on project requirements

• Familiarity with architecture styles/patterns: layered architecture, modular monolith, SOA, microservices, event-driven architecture, cloud solutions

• Experience designing or modernizing microservices and distributed systems, including service integration, data flow, and communication models

• Knowledge of resilience patterns (e.g., circuit breaker, retry)

• Ability to create architecture diagrams using UML or ArchiMate and work with an architecture repository (e.g., Enterprise Architect)

• Practical knowledge of non-functional requirements, especially security, availability, performance, observability, scalability, and RPO/RTO

• Ability to lead technical alignment and communicate decisions to various stakeholders (business, management, technical teams)
