Description

You will support and improve a Microsoft Windows Server platform, including key services such as File Server, NPS, and SC. The role focuses on keeping systems stable and secure through monitoring, troubleshooting, incident management, patching, and performance/capacity planning, while also driving operational efficiency via automation, standardization, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Administer Windows Server 2016/2019/2022/2025
• Manage virtual machines and handle capacity planning
• Perform monitoring, incident management, and performance optimization
• Apply patching and carry out regular server maintenance
• Manage backups and system restore
• Create and maintain technical documentation

Requirements (Must-have)

• Practical experience with Microsoft Windows Server (2016+)
• Practical experience with PowerShell
• Independent and responsible working style; ability to follow tasks through to completion

Nice-to-have (Big advantage)

• Experience with Microsoft Hyper-V
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server
• Experience with SCOM and/or SCVMM
• Knowledge of VMware vSphere (at least as a consumer)
• Basic orientation in Linux
• Knowledge of backup technologies and principles
