Description

You will manage and maintain servers (physical and virtual), networks, identity services, backups, monitoring, and IT security. You will support internal users, troubleshoot infrastructure incidents, update hardware/software, and contribute to IT projects and new technology rollouts. You will also keep IT documentation up to date and ensure reliable availability through proactive monitoring and recovery processes.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain physical and virtual servers running Windows Server and/or Linux, including patching and updates
• Configure and monitor network components (routers, FortiSwitch/FortiFirewall, Wi‑Fi)
• Manage user accounts and permissions via Active Directory and Azure AD
• Ensure data backup and restore capability (Veeam)
• Monitor performance and availability of IT systems
• Install, configure, and update hardware and software
• Provide technical support and resolve incidents for internal users
• Ensure data and system security
• Update documentation for IT processes and configurations
• Participate in IT projects and deployment of new technologies

Requirements

• Proven experience with Windows Server administration (Active Directory, GPO, DNS, DHCP, IIS) and/or Linux
• Experience managing UPS, air conditioning, and data security
• Knowledge and experience with virtualization (VMware vSphere)
• Knowledge of ESET antivirus, two-factor authentication on login, and regular updates
• Knowledge of network protocols and services (TCP/IP, VPN, LAN/WAN)
• Experience administering Forti network equipment (FortiSwitch)
• Knowledge of backup solutions (Veeam)
• Experience with cloud services (Microsoft 365, Azure)
• Hands-on experience with PRTG Monitoring
• Ability to diagnose and solve complex IT issues
• Knowledge of backup and restore for servers, databases, and applications, including verifying backup progress and restoring from backups
• Experience administering print servers and printers (SafeQ)
