Description

You will advise customers using appropriate presentation materials to acquire orders and support opportunities from early lead generation through order award negotiations. You will coordinate closely with global sales colleagues and internal technical departments, align customer specifications, and identify new application opportunities. You will also assess competitive products and propose upgrades while evaluating risks to ensure pricing and outcome quality.

Responsibilities

• Advise customers using presentation materials to win orders

• Proactively accompany customers and global sales teams from early acquisition through order award negotiations

• Collaborate with global sales colleagues and internal technical departments to enable sustainable growth

• Align and release customer specifications

• Identify new application opportunities based on customer requirements

• Review and evaluate competitor products; develop upgrade proposals for outdated solutions

• Recognize and assess risks to ensure pricing and result quality

Requirements

• Completed technical degree (Mechanical Engineering, Business Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering or similar) or equivalent qualification

• Multi-year experience in hydraulics, actuation, and control engineering

• Very good understanding of turbines and turbomachinery (ideally)

• Proactive sales work, communication skills, and solution-oriented mindset

• Strong customer and results orientation; confident in intercultural environments

• Good SAP and MS Office skills

• Very good German and English (spoken and written)

• Willingness for international travel (~20%)
