Description

You will design, implement, and integrate complex technical system architecture for air-traffic-safety products, working closely with project teams. The role serves as a technical interface between the customer and internal contacts, including customer support activities. You will also contribute to product-related software development when suitable.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with colleagues in project teams

• Participate in software development for air traffic control products (if interested and suitable)

• Act as the technical interface between the customer and internal contacts

• Design and implement the technical system architecture

• Integrate systems at customer sites

• Conduct customer training on operation and maintenance of products

• Prepare and carry out customer acceptance tests (in-house and on-site)

Requirements

• Degree in computer science or comparable qualification

• Very good knowledge of installation, configuration, and administration of Linux systems (Red Hat)

• Practical experience in scripting (bash, python, ansible)

• Enjoy developing complex technical solutions

• Practical experience in computer networks (design, implementation, monitoring, troubleshooting), network security, and virtualization

• Confident manner when dealing with customers

• Excellent technical support for customers

• Excellent written and spoken English (business fluent); additional languages are an advantage

• Willingness to travel worldwide (30%)

• In-depth knowledge of at least one high-level language (Java, C/C++, Rust, Ada, etc.) is an advantage
