Description

You will help design and build key backend components of the EUDIW platform, a cornerstone of future European digital infrastructure. The work combines digital identity, security, authentication, privacy, and large-scale integrations used by citizens, companies, and institutions across the EU. You can also grow into technical leadership for the backend team depending on your strengths.

Responsibilities

• Participate actively in the design and development of core system components

• Design and evolve a microservices architecture

• Contribute to technical decisions and solution approaches

• Perform code reviews and share knowledge with the team

• Collaborate with architects, analysts, mobile teams, and QA specialists

• Help build a secure and scalable system of European significance

• If interested and capable, take technical leadership of the backend team

Requirements

• Excellent knowledge of the Java / Spring Boot ecosystem

• Strong knowledge of databases and application containerization

• Experience with microservices application development

• Ownership mindset for your work stream and delivery quality

• Fluent in Czech/Slovak; English is not an issue

• Technical university degree (IT or related)

• Can start almost immediately

• Advantage: Experience with security, authentication, digital identity, or high-reliability data-protection systems

• Advantage: Experience with technical leadership or mentoring developers
