Description

Design and develop backend applications for the banking sector in line with quality, security, and performance standards. Implement and evolve REST APIs and microservices-based solutions, while supporting requirements analysis, code reviews, unit testing, deployment automation, and production issue resolution and performance optimization.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop backend applications for the banking sector

• Design and implement REST APIs

• Develop and maintain solutions based on microservices architecture

• Participate in requirements analysis and technical solution design

• Create unit tests and participate in code reviews

• Collaborate with analysts, testers, and other project teams

• Prepare deployment scripts and automation

• Optimize application performance and resolve production problems

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of Java experience (Senior) or 8+ years (Expert)

• Very strong knowledge of Java, Spring, and REST API

• Experience with GCP

• Experience with Kubernetes and microservices architecture

• Very strong SQL knowledge (PostgreSQL, Oracle)

• Practical knowledge of Kafka, Redis, and Consul (service mesh)

• Experience optimizing application performance

• Knowledge of Git, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD

• TDD/DDD experience

• Experience in the banking/financial sector

• Good English proficiency
