Description

You will manage software projects for enterprise and public-sector clients, ensuring customer needs are understood and delivered effectively. You will translate requirements into clear tickets for developers, plan sprints, estimate effort, and coordinate collaboration between clients and the development team. The role offers real responsibility, direct collaboration with leadership, and the opportunity to improve how projects are executed.

Responsibilities

• Listen to customers and uncover their actual requirements through targeted follow-up questions

• Translate requirements into understandable tickets for developers

• Plan sprints, estimate effort, and keep commitments or explain in time when adjustments are needed

• Coordinate collaboration between the development team and customers

• Evolve together with the team how software projects are implemented

Requirements

• Experience in software projects (e.g., as project manager, in consulting, requirements engineering, or comparable responsibility as a student assistant)

• Ability to think in context: connect requirements, technology, and contracts

• Clear and direct communication with customer executives and developers

• Knowledge of agile methods to assess when they make sense

• Openness to new tools, methods, and the practical use of AI in project work

• Willingness to grow quickly and take ownership

• Very good German

• Residence within 50 km of Ostfildern (73760)

• Experience with public-sector clients or regulated industries is welcome but not required
