Description

Lead product management for software and firmware features for Megapack, partnering closely with engineering to scope and launch capabilities aligned to market needs. Support both new and sustaining software/firmware features across industrial energy products covering the full system (electrical and networking equipment, battery pack, inverter, and thermal controllers). Bring technical expertise and commercial acumen to build business cases, define product requirements, and educate stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Create crisp feature requests by discovering problems through stakeholder/user interviews, published grid/compliance requirements, and contracts
  • Develop business cases, define product requirements, and prioritize features for market and customer needs
  • Collaborate with engineers to design and deliver software solutions
  • Produce technical content such as manuals, application notes, and marketing collateral
  • Educate internal teams, customers, and partners on product features and best practices

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years in engineering, software product management, or related experience
  • 5+ years in Energy Storage or Renewable Generation or Utilities with focus on Control and Monitoring Systems
  • General understanding of cybersecurity and network monitoring as it applies to the electric grid
  • Ability to qualify and quantify time series data into operational insights
  • Deep understanding of software development processes, tools, and best practices
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills with technical and commercial expertise
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-stakeholder relationships
  • Passion for advancing renewable energy and grid transformation
