Description

Own sourcing and procurement for enterprise software and connectivity, including vehicle infotainment software, vehicle connectivity, and design IP. Drive contract management and price negotiations, analyze spend and suppliers, and lead vendor sourcing to improve cost, quality, delivery, and service levels. Partner with engineering teams and key suppliers to build supplier relationships and optimize total cost of ownership.

Responsibilities

  • Own RFQs and contract management (NDAs, General Terms & Conditions, Price Agreements, and related contracts)

  • Drive price negotiations for best-in-class software & connectivity pricing

  • Lead continual cost reduction and avoidance initiatives via ad hoc negotiations

  • Analyze current spend; evaluate and consolidate suppliers to create leverage

  • Identify new high-potential suppliers globally and develop sourcing alternatives

  • Manage supplier relationships and performance, including dispute resolution

  • Develop supplier KPIs and negotiate variables for longer-term strategic contracts

  • Lead vendor sourcing and provide commercial guidance for final supplier selection

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Engineering, or equivalent experience

  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work in an extremely fast-paced environment

  • Strong negotiation skills and experience with software contracts

  • Ability to analyze spend and manage supplier relationships and performance

$84,000 - $192,000 annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits (final offer varies by factors including market location, knowledge, skills, and experience).
