Description

Build and operate cloud-based infrastructure for complex, large-scale systems and develop specialized data-processing software. Advise development teams on cloud-native solutions, create in-house utilities to manage cloud systems, and collaborate (with Cloud Architects) on technical and business guidance within projects. Solve unconventional technical challenges involving reliability, networking, and performance.

Responsibilities

• Implement cloud-based infrastructure for complex, large-scale systems
• Develop specialized data-processing software
• Advise clients and development teams on cloud-native solutions
• Build in-house utilities for managing cloud systems
• Provide technical and business guidance within projects (with Cloud Architects)
• Manage client relationships
• Solve challenging, non-standard technical problems

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience designing, implementing, and upkeeping cloud-based systems for web applications, data pipelines, or other services
• Deep experience with AWS or GCP and their best practices
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar) and configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, etc.)
• Strong programming skills (technology-agnostic)
• Strong drive to stay up-to-date with cloud trends and ability to learn new tools quickly
• Proficiency in mathematics and theoretical computer science, including advanced algorithms
• Deep familiarity with software optimization, networking concepts, and operating systems fundamentals
• Great communication skills (English and Polish at C1+ level)
• Ability to lead a small team, organizing work and priorities to match client business expectations (or willingness to learn)
