Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

Description

You will build and optimize cloud-based infrastructure for complex, large-scale systems and develop specialized data-processing software. You’ll also advise customers and their development teams on cloud-native solutions and collaborate with Cloud Architects to provide technical and business guidance within projects.

Responsibilities

• Implement cloud-based infrastructure for complex, large-scale systems
• Develop specialized data-processing software
• Advise customers and development teams on cloud-native solutions
• Develop in-house utilities for managing cloud systems
• Provide technical and business guidance within projects (with Cloud Architects)
• Manage client relationships
• Solve unconventional technical challenges

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience designing, implementing, and upkeeping cloud-based systems for web applications, data pipelines, or other services
• Deep experience with AWS or GCP and their best practices
• Experience with the Infrastructure as Code paradigm (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar)
• Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, etc.)
• Strong programming skills
• Ability to stay up-to-date with cloud trends and quickly learn new tools and technologies
• Proficient in mathematics and theoretical computer science, including advanced algorithms
• Deep familiarity with software optimization, networking concepts, and operating systems fundamentals
• Excellent communication skills (English and Polish at C1+ level)
• Can or is willing to learn how to lead a small team and organize work to match client business expectations
