Description

You’ll join a collaborative, open-minded backend team building crypto payment gateway services and operating blockchain nodes, including early adoption of the Lightning Network. The role emphasizes architectural ownership, security principles, services observability, and working with AWS infrastructure via Infrastructure as Code. You’ll contribute full-cycle backend features—testing, integration, monitoring, and maintenance—while learning from and teaching the team.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop backend services for crypto payments and blockchain node operations

• Deliver full-cycle backend work: testing, integration, monitoring, and ongoing maintenance

• Apply security principles in system design and implementation

• Work with AWS infrastructure using IaC

• Improve services observability and operational readiness

• Collaborate in a fast-moving engineering culture with regular constructive feedback

Requirements

• Mastery of JVM and PostgreSQL (Java 21)

• Proven full-cycle backend development experience (testing, integration, monitoring, maintenance)

• Analytical thinking and strong organization

• Ability to prioritize and manage technical debt deliberately

• Willingness to regularly give and receive constructive feedback (disagree & commit)
