Description

Design and build modern backend services for credit rating, credit limit management, and risk-related decision support. Take ownership of solution design and technical architecture, partnering with business stakeholders and analysts to turn business needs into scalable systems. Help the team adopt AI-assisted development practices to improve engineering productivity while maintaining high code quality and modern engineering standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop backend services using Java and Spring Boot in a microservices architecture

• Own solution design and technical architecture for complex features and components

• Collaborate with business stakeholders and analysts to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions

• Drive adoption of AI-assisted development practices (e.g., GitHub Copilot, internal agents)

• Provide technical leadership for code quality and modern engineering standards (TDD, design patterns, clean architecture)

Requirements

• Strong experience with Java (17+) and Spring Boot

• Experience designing and building microservice-based systems

• Solid knowledge of relational databases and SQL

• Experience working with messaging systems such as Kafka or MQ

• Solid understanding of software design patterns, clean architecture, and modern development practices

• Experience adapting AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot or similar) or agents into everyday development workflows (code generation, refactoring, documentation, or test creation)

Preferred (Ideal)

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
