Description

You will work on building Java backend systems within Java-based architectures in a Scrum team with a DevOps spirit. The role focuses on designing, implementing, testing, and delivering functionality with a strong emphasis on clean code, maintainability, automated testing, and code review. You may also develop in areas such as Camunda/BPMN 2.0, AI-assisted development, and cloud/containerized architectures.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, test, and deliver functionality for Java backend systems
• Collaborate in a Scrum team following DevOps practices
• Perform code reviews and contribute to team quality standards
• Analyze system behavior, failure modes, and the impact of changes on maintainability
• Work with continuous integration/continuous delivery (including containerization and cloud)

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of commercial Java experience
• Spring and Hibernate experience
• JUnit and/or Cucumber and automated testing experience
• Relational database experience
• Maven, Git, and Jenkins knowledge
• Ability to independently design, implement, test, and deliver features
• Clean code, maintainability, and code quality mindset
• Experience with code review and team collaboration
• Ability to analyze system behavior and failure modes, and assess change impact
• Fluent communication in English
