Description

You will build new backend software as part of client projects, maintain existing applications, and design application architectures. You’ll collaborate with analytical, frontend, QA, and DevOps teams while ensuring high code quality through unit tests and code reviews, and preparing technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop new software within company project deliveries

• Maintain and improve existing applications

• Work with analytical, frontend, QA, and DevOps teams

• Ensure high code quality (unit tests, code review)

• Design application solution architecture

• Create and maintain technical documentation

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a developer

• Very good knowledge of Java 8 and newer

• Solid relational database knowledge (preferably PostgreSQL or Oracle): database design, SQL query writing, indexes, and transactions

• Experience with the Thymeleaf framework

• Knowledge of JPA/Hibernate

• Knowledge of application build tools: Maven or Gradle

• Knowledge of application servers: Wildfly and/or Tomcat

• Practical experience with Docker-based containerization

• Knowledge of Git version control

• Knowledge of Linux

• IT-related higher education

• English knowledge sufficient to read technical documentation
