Description

Design, build, and maintain enterprise application components on the Pega platform, including end-to-end case lifecycle, data model, integrations (REST/SOAP and file-based interfaces), business logic, and user interfaces. Ensure solutions comply with Pega guardrails, design patterns, and best practices, while contributing to solution design, estimations/refinement sessions, and code reviews. Collaborate closely with Business Architects, QA engineers, and DevOps specialists.

Responsibilities

• Work on a greenfield project for a public-sector client and support a global rollout (approx. 150 countries)

• Design, implement, and maintain Pega application components

• Implement case lifecycle, data model, integrations (REST/SOAP and file-based interfaces), business logic, and UI interfaces

• Ensure full compliance with Pega guardrails, design patterns, and engineering best practices

• Participate in solution design, estimation, and refinement sessions

• Conduct code reviews and support less experienced developers

• Collaborate with Business Architects, QA, and DevOps

• Contribute to continuous improvement and DevOps practices/engineering standards

Requirements

• Pega SSA (Senior System Architect) certification (mandatory)

• 5+ years of practical experience developing applications on the Pega platform

• Experience with Pega Constellation (mandatory)

• Documented enterprise experience in designing and developing Pega applications

• Hands-on experience with Pega 8.x: case types, flows, UIs, rules, data pages

• Integration knowledge: REST, SOAP, and file-based interfaces

• English proficiency at B2 or C1 level

• Preferred: German language skills

• Availability ASAP or a maximum 1-month notice period (start/end at month-end)
