Description

You will own the strategy and roadmap for Piano’s end-to-end checkout experience, operating at the Agile Release Train (ART) level. The role combines business strategy, CRO/analytics, UX design, and technology to maximize conversion and downstream recurring revenue. You will also analyze payment ecosystems (centered on Stripe) and leverage AI tools for discovery and data analysis while collaborating with go-to-market partners.

Responsibilities

  • Define and maintain a 3–12 month product roadmap for checkout capabilities
  • Own and prioritize the Program Backlog (Features and Enablers) using value-based frameworks (WSJF, RICE)
  • Prepare for PI Planning and enable Product Owners for autonomous execution
  • Define, monitor, and act on checkout KPIs (conversion rate, completion rate, MRR/ARR, retention impact)
  • Analyze payment ecosystem dynamics and checkout positioning with payment service providers (Stripe focus)
  • Use AI tools across discovery, data synthesis, and analysis; collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success on GTM enablement

Requirements

  • 3+ years of product management experience leading customer-facing checkout, payments, or subscription purchase flows
  • Proven CRO track record with measurable revenue impact
  • Strong knowledge of payment ecosystems and subscription lifecycle economics (Stripe preferred)
  • Experience with Agile at scale (SAFe 6 or scaled Agile frameworks)
  • Data-driven approach using ROI/product KPIs
  • English fluency (C1+) plus strong stakeholder management and presentation skills
  • Practical experience leveraging AI tools in product discovery and market/workflow analysis
