Description

You will design and evolve the architecture of new and existing systems (including monoliths and microservices) and support technology modernization initiatives such as refactoring and migrations. You’ll conduct technical analyses, create architectural documentation, recommend and select technologies with security, performance, and scalability in mind, and support developer teams during transformation projects. The role includes designing and developing API-based solutions and providing technical mentorship and guidance.

Responsibilities

• Design architecture for new and existing systems (monoliths and microservices)
• Lead and support modernization processes (refactoring, migrations)
• Perform technical analyses and create architectural documentation
• Participate in technology transformation projects as a technology expert and business partner
• Recommend and choose technologies considering security, performance, and scalability
• Design and develop API-based solutions
• Support development teams in making technical decisions
• Share knowledge and provide technical mentoring
• Identify architecture improvement areas and propose development directions
• Collaborate with IT teams, business, and other stakeholders

Requirements

• Very strong knowledge of .NET Framework and .NET Core / .NET 6+
• Experience with PHP 5.x–8.x and legacy frameworks (e.g., Zend, Symfony 2/3)
• Practical experience with monoliths and modernizing them
• Good SQL knowledge and relational databases, especially MS SQL, MySQL, or PostgreSQL
• Experience designing/building APIs (REST, SOAP); GraphQL is an additional advantage
• Knowledge of architectural patterns, especially DDD (Domain-Driven Design)
• Ability to analyze technically and make architectural decisions
• Ability to translate technical decisions and their implications into business terms
• Proactive approach and readiness to propose improvements and new architecture directions
• Very good communication skills; ability to collaborate with both IT and business
• Independence in making technical decisions
