Description

You will develop and maintain ifap Praxiscenter, a Delphi-based product for pharmacies and prescribing professionals.

You will improve performance, stability, and integrations with modern services (including .NET and Express.js) while connecting Delphi components to modern web and data services.

You will use Claude Code, AI agents, AI pipelines, and context engineering to accelerate refactoring, analysis, and documentation, and help shape the modernization roadmap.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the ifap Praxiscenter Delphi product for pharmacies and prescribers

• Design and implement changes that improve performance, stability, and integration with modern services (including .NET, Express.js, MSVC components)

• Collaborate with the ifap team and the AI full-stack team to create sustainable integration paths between Delphi components and modern web/data services

• Use Claude Code and AI agents to speed up refactoring, analysis, and documentation of the existing Delphi codebase, and share insights in a structured way

• Actively shape the modernization roadmap while balancing reliable delivery and step-by-step platform evolution

Requirements

• Mehrjährige experience in Delphi development, ideally for business-critical long-running applications with high availability and data quality requirements

• University degree (preferably a Master) in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering or a comparable technical field with very good results

• Solid knowledge of relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL), integration patterns, and legacy modernization experience

• Confident with build, deployment, and version control tools; proven AI use in software engineering, ideally with Claude Code (agents, skills, workflows), AI pipelines, and context engineering

• Fluent German and English; able to work confidently with German-domain stakeholders and international teams

• Strong problem-solving skills plus pragmatic, proactive, self-directed and innovative working style
