• Role: Delphi Software Developer (m/w/d)

Description

You will maintain and further develop complex, existing software solutions built with classic Delphi versions (e.g., Delphi 7, 2007 or newer). You’ll implement new features, write clean and maintainable code, conduct tests for high software quality, and analyze and fix issues in production environments. You will also evaluate and integrate modern programming languages and create clear documentation for traceable development.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop existing complex software solutions using Delphi
• Implement new features and extend existing solutions with innovative approaches
• Develop clean, maintainable code and run tests to ensure software quality
• Analyze and fix bugs in productive environments
• Evaluate and integrate modern programming languages into projects
• Create documentation to ensure development traceability

Requirements

• Completed IT vocational training or a degree in Computer Science or comparable qualification
• Several years of professional software development experience
• Knowledge of Delphi and at least one additional language (Java, C#, JavaScript)
• Initial experience with databases and cloud technologies
• Strong customer and solution orientation with a structured working style
• Hands-on mentality and ability to work well in a team
• Interest in personal and professional growth
• Good communication skills in German and English
