Description

Join the WebChannel engineering team responsible for the customer-facing platform, APIs, and CMS integrations used by IDC clients and internal teams. You will design, develop, test, and maintain web applications, APIs, and CMS integrations, using AI-assisted development (Claude Code). You will also investigate and remediate complex technical and security issues and maintain technical documentation for code, APIs, and systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain the WebChannel platform applications, APIs, and CMS integrations
• Use AI-assisted development (Claude Code) throughout the software development lifecycle
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and QA engineers to deliver high-quality customer-facing products
• Identify, analyze, and resolve complex technical and security issues
• Write and maintain technical documentation for code, APIs, and software systems
• Implement secure coding practices to safeguard customer and employee data
• Partner with the team lead on planning and prioritizing platform and security remediation work

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or related) or equivalent practical experience
• 4+ years of commercial programming experience in Java
• Experience developing in Angular
• Experience with microservices architecture and API design
• Experience creating automated tests
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems such as Git
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is a plus
• Communicative proficiency in English and Czech (B2+)
