Description

You will develop embedded software and related logic using C++, C, and VHDL for systems based on AMD/Xilinx Zynq and FreeRTOS. The role includes building a CMake-based build system, writing Python tools/scripts, automating Xilinx tool workflows with TCL, and debugging/diagnosing electronics on real hardware. You will also collaborate with electronics designers on software architecture and analyze IFF / STANAG 4193 requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded software using C++, C, and VHDL

• Expand software for Zynq-based embedded systems running FreeRTOS

• Create a CMake-based build system

• Program tools and scripts in Python

• Automate Xilinx tool workflows with TCL scripts

• Diagnose and debug electronics using diagnostic tools

• Collaborate with electronics design team and participate in defining software architecture

• Prepare HLD and LLD documentation

• Debug electronics and run/validate software on hardware

• Analyze requirements in the IFF/STANAG 4193 domain

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Telecommunications, or related field

• Minimum 4 years of C++ programming (preferably embedded)

• Minimum 2 years of embedded systems development

• Very good knowledge of modern C++ (C++20 and newer)

• Practical knowledge of VHDL and Python

• Experience creating multithreaded applications

• Knowledge of VHDL and the Zynq (AMD/Xilinx) platform

• Experience with FreeRTOS

• Knowledge of TCL for test automation

• Ability to solve technical problems, analyze data, and draw conclusions

• Communication skills and ability to work in a team

• PSC security clearance or readiness to undergo ABWM procedure
