Description

You will join an R&D team to develop firmware and software for microchips, sensors, and embedded systems used to monitor infrastructure (e.g., bridges, tunnels, waterworks, railways). Your work converts sensor data into actionable information to enable early risk detection and prevent operational problems in real deployments. You will collaborate with programmers, designers, mathematicians, and other specialists to develop, test, and improve field-ready products.

Responsibilities

• Develop software and firmware in C/C++ and Python for microchips, sensors, and embedded systems
• Work on measurement technology, IoT sensors, and dataloggers
• Test and debug devices for real-world deployment
• Collaborate across the R&D team
• Participate in development grants
• Have opportunities to visit the field and see your devices used in practice

Requirements

• University degree in electronics or a related technical discipline
• At least 5 years of experience in electronics
• Knowledge of programming in C/C++ and Python
• Experience working with Git
• Independence, responsibility, and creativity in finding solutions
• Desire to keep growing professionally as development evolves
• Driver’s license category B and willingness to actively drive
• Willingness to occasionally travel to the field to see devices in real operation
