Description

You will develop embedded firmware and system-level functionality, covering the whole device—from hardware through firmware to communication, diagnostics, and bringing the product into operation.

The work includes implementing RTOS-based applications, designing drivers and state machines, and handling multiple communication interfaces.

You will also support prototype bring-up, troubleshooting, and collaboration on hardware design and manufacturing ramp.

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded firmware mainly in C

• Use C++ where it makes sense in an embedded system

• Build applications on top of an RTOS

• Work with STM32 microcontrollers and ARM Cortex-M

• Design device drivers, state machines, and communication protocols

• Work with UART, SPI, I²C, CAN, USB, Ethernet, and DMA

• Perform diagnostics, logging, and firmware updates

• Bring up prototypes and investigate root causes of issues

• Cooperate on hardware design and introducing the product into production

• Collaborate with colleagues in an international environment

Requirements

• Good knowledge of C

• Embedded development experience

• Familiarity with microprocessors and their peripherals

• Ability to read datasheets and electronic schematics

• Technical and systematic thinking

• Independence, carefulness, and willingness to learn
