Description

You will take ownership of critical embedded software components in security camera devices. The role includes maintaining existing products through debugging and bug fixing, and developing new features while optimizing performance in resource-constrained environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain embedded software in C/C++
• Debug and resolve complex software, hardware, and network connectivity issues
• Develop new features and improve existing codebases
• Optimize performance for embedded, resource-constrained environments
• Conduct code reviews and provide technical mentorship
• Participate in architecture discussions and technical decision-making
• Collaborate with QA to create testing strategies
• Document software designs, APIs, libraries, and troubleshooting procedures

Requirements

• 5+ years C proficiency in embedded, bare-metal, and RTOS environments
• 3+ years embedded development experience
• Understanding of multi-core architectures and inter-core communication (IPC, mailbox, shared memory)
• Proficiency in the full SDLC, including Git, CMake, code reviews, and continuous integration
• Hands-on hardware troubleshooting and debugging with JTAG
• Experience with UART, I2C, SPI, GPIO
• Excellent written and spoken English
