Description

You will lead and mentor multiple client-side development teams, combining managerial guidance with hands-on Unity technical direction. The role focuses on delivering and improving a large-scale game across Android, iOS, and WebGL, implementing new features while optimizing performance for the best player experience on supported devices. You will also collaborate globally and align with backend architecture on client–server interfaces and shared infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor multiple client-side development teams with both managerial and technical guidance

• Hire, develop, and retain top talent; build and grow teams

• Manage and lead global teams and support opening and growth of international development sites

• Drive organizational scaling, including setting up and expanding development sites

• Coordinate with global teams for seamless communication and execution

• Partner with other client teams to evolve shared infrastructure architecture across multiple apps

• Work with the backend architect to define and align client–server interfaces

• Deliver game experiences across Android, iOS, and WebGL using modern technologies

• Implement new client-side features while maintaining and improving existing code

• Optimize performance across supported devices

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional software development experience

• 2+ years of proven managerial experience

• Strong track record in hiring and retaining top talent (A-players)

• Strong knowledge of C#

• 2+ years of Unity experience, specifically on mobile platforms

• Experience with Unity scripting APIs, 2D tools, UI, and animations

• Experience with multithreading and client–server communication

• Good knowledge of OOP and design patterns
