Description

You will own end-to-end features for a cloud platform that remotely manages industrial-scale Bitcoin mining fleets, including production troubleshooting. The role combines full-stack engineering (NestJS/TypeScript, PostgreSQL, Redis, queues, gRPC, and web/desktop frontends) with building an internal AI agent platform (agent/tool design, MCP integrations, context engineering, retrieval over domain data, and evaluation pipelines with human approval gates).

Responsibilities

• Own features across the full lifecycle: architecture & design, implementation, and production troubleshooting
• Work on the platform stack (API, background jobs, device communication, and frontends)
• Build AI agent capabilities: tool/agent design, MCP integrations, orchestration workflows, and retrieval
• Create and maintain evals to prevent silent degradation

Requirements

• Strong TypeScript on both server and client
• Node.js server experience with NestJS (or equivalent) and a modern SPA framework (Angular/React/Vue)
• Advanced PostgreSQL and SQL skills beyond ORM usage (relational modeling and migrations)
• Hands-on LLM shipping experience, including credible subsets such as tool/function calling, MCP, retrieval, agent orchestration, and evals
• Experience with REST and gRPC
• Solid Git, Docker, and CI skills
• Comfort with asynchronous distributed systems (queues, at-least-once delivery, idempotent handlers, retries, backpressure)
• Ability to write and defend unit and integration tests
• Excellent debugging skills (stack traces, slow query plans, metrics dashboards)
• Solid algorithms and data structures knowledge
• Communicative English and strong self-direction in a remote setting
