• Role: AI Full-Stack Developer

Description

You will build production applications where AI models, agents, and knowledge are core product features—not add-ons. You’ll connect UI, backend services, data, and client systems, handle production edge cases, and collaborate closely with an AI architect to deliver complete AI functionality—including integration, evaluation, and telemetry—quickly and independently.

Responsibilities

• Build AI features from UX through backend, including UX that shows processing status, sources, missing information, and required approvals.

• Implement structured and agentic workflows: structured outputs, tool calling, context handling, validation, limits, and escalation to a human.

• Create API adapters and tool contracts; integrate REST and GraphQL; implement asynchronous processing with safe retry behavior (avoid double writes).

• Connect applications to knowledge sources using retrieval; determine whether failures come from sources, retrieval, context, or generation.

• Ensure quality with unit, integration, and end-to-end tests; define eval scenarios for AI behavior; add tracing and metrics to monitor latency and cost.

• Work with the AI architect to evolve AI SDLC skills and automation, and turn real delivery experience into shared templates.

Requirements

• Very strong TypeScript and Node.js; backend service design and asynchronous coding experience.

• Practical frontend experience, ideally with React.

• Experience with APIs, databases, authentication, authorization, and integrations with external systems.

• Automated testing, Git, code review, CI/CD, and debugging production systems.

• Hands-on experience with model APIs, structured outputs, tool calling, and context management.

• Understanding of RAG fundamentals (embeddings, chunking, indexing) and how AI workflows can fail.

• Safe AI practices: enforce permissions, protect against tool misuse, and handle untrusted content.

• Working knowledge of Python for evaluations and smaller data tasks.

• Communicative Czech or Slovak.

• Availability to start on the specified date (or by agreement).
