Description

You will analyze, clean, and statistically process data to compute and model risk indicators according to applicable methodologies and regulatory requirements. The role includes developing and validating risk models, producing reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders, and supporting client implementations through testing, validation, and tuning. You will communicate findings and recommendations with clients primarily in English.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and evaluate data, including data cleaning and statistical processing

• Calculate and model risk metrics in line with methodologies and regulatory requirements

• Develop and validate models

• Prepare reports and presentations of analysis results for internal use and external clients

• Support implementation of solutions in client projects (testing, validation, and tuning of models and analytical tools)

• Communicate with clients regarding requirements, results, and recommendations (mostly in English)

Requirements

• University degree in mathematics, statistics, finance, economics, or physics

• Knowledge of mathematical statistics

• Analytical thinking

• Experience with one or more programming languages/tools: Python, R, SAS, Matlab, VBA, MS Excel

• Advantage: basic knowledge of credit risk (e.g., IFRS 9, Basel) or market risk (e.g., IRRBB)

• Advantage: prior experience (not mandatory)

• Ability to communicate effectively in English
