• Role: Information Security and Business Continuity Manager (IT)

• Employment: Permanent, part-time (31.2 hours/week)

Description

You will build, develop, and integrate an organization-wide IT emergency and business continuity management approach, including guidelines, processes, and incident documentation. You will create and maintain emergency, alerting, escalation, and restart concepts, run Business Impact Analyses (BIA), and coordinate IT disruptions and crises. You will ensure KRITIS, audit, and compliance requirements are met with audit-proof documentation and audit support.

Responsibilities

• Build, enhance, and integrate company-wide IT emergency management/BCM including directives, processes, and emergency documentation

• Create and maintain emergency, alerting, escalation, and restart concepts, including fallback and substitute procedures

• Define roles, responsibilities, communication and decision paths for IT emergencies and crisis situations

• Conduct Business Impact Analyses (BIA) to assess critical processes, dependencies, and restart targets

• Coordinate, escalate, document, and follow up during IT incidents and crises

• Ensure KRITIS, audit, and compliance requirements with revision-proof documentation and audit support

Requirements

• Completed degree (Master in Computer Science or Business Informatics) or equivalent skills and knowledge

• Completed training as an internal auditor per DIN 19011 (ISO) and DIN 27001 (ISMS) (desired)

• Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards: BSI-Standard 200-4, ISO 22301, ISO/IEC 27001, KRITIS/resilience requirements, and energy-sector security and operational requirements

• Several years of professional experience in an energy supply company

• Experience in business continuity management/emergency management and in staff work or incident/crisis organization

• Structured analytical, proactive working style and confidence in communicating and acting under stress and during crises

• Driving license class B
