Description

Join a team building AI to transform underwriting processes. You will develop underwriting support applications (Next.js/React frontend, FastAPI/Python backend), integrate AI agents with business systems (policy administration, rating engines, DMS, CRM, broker portal, Outlook), and deploy solutions on Azure.

Responsibilities

• Build an underwriting support application for underwriters

• Integrate AI agents into the application and develop an orchestration layer (LangChain/LangGraph) to coordinate agent runs

• Integrate with policy administration, rating engines, DMS, CRM, broker portal, and Outlook

• Implement Azure deployments using containers and CI/CD

• Build and orchestrate AI agents, including converting underwriting guidelines into agent instructions

• Create a data extraction process from broker documents

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Data Science/AI, including at least 1 year of production deployments

• Strong React/Next.js and Python/FastAPI skills

• Knowledge of Azure Blob Storage, Azure Document Intelligence, and Azure AI Foundry

• Knowledge of LangGraph (or similar orchestration tools), prompt engineering, and context engineering

• Knowledge of PostgreSQL

• Proficiency in Python (pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch/TensorFlow) and SQL

• Practical MLOps experience (Azure ML, MLflow, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD)

• Experience with Azure cloud platform

• Understanding of AI Governance and AI Act requirements

• Technical higher education (Math, Computer Science, Sciences, Engineering)

• Analytical and conceptual mindset with structured problem solving

• Ability to communicate complex technical topics to non-technical stakeholders

• Proactive attitude and willingness to take responsibility from idea to implementation
